Yesterday, on my way to Macon to meet my Great Neice, Danni Kaye, for the very first time, I was thinking about dedicating this blog to her,  even though it had nothing to do with decorating.  Well, it is still dedicated to Danni Kaye, and how precious she is, but I had to include pics of her nursery, because it is almost as precious as she is!...Almost!!!

Danni Kaye may be the prettiest baby girl I have ever seen, and yes, I have three girls of my own!   Her skin is beautiful, and she is just perfect!  She weighed 9lbs, 9 ounces at birth, so she is quite healthy looking!!  She slept the entire day, while being passed from one family member to another.  Another reason to think she is perfect...she liked us all equally well!!!  Her parents, Claudia and Dusty, were glowing with pride!

Danni's mom, Claudia, is the oldest of five girls, she is the oldest and first grandchild of my mom's, and has helped raise our three girls.  She was actually in the delivery room while my youngest, Mary Belle was born.  It was quite special to have the oldest grandchild in the delivery room when the youngest grandchild was born.  Therefore, my children could not wait to meet baby Danni.  The big bonus of the day was getting to see most of my family, including my Great Nephew, Ethan.  He has been the center of the universe for the past year, and handled meeting his new cousin quite well.  Ethan has a baby brother coming in June.  It is so much fun to see the next generation handling life so well!

O.K., Danni's nursery may be the cutest nursery I have ever seen.  I wanted to spend the night there myself!  My kids want to re-decorate their rooms to look like Danni's!  Even my thirteen year old, Allie recognized it as having no age limits!  The colors are hot pink, and gray, with a multitude of other colors as accents. It was a combined effort of my sister, Brenda, and Claudia's creativity, Dusty's painting(he painted the room himself), and Claudia's sweet friend who added the artistic touch with her wonderful paintings.  I hope the pics give you an idea of how wonderful it is!

Yesterday was such a great day!  I cannot tell you how much I enjoy spending time with my sisters, my sweet mom, and all my neices, nephews, Great Neice, and Great Nephew.  If you are concerned about the next generation, rest easy, they are doing just fine and dandy!!!  Thanks for letting me share!
